Feasa General Purpose Capture Program
 Copyright 2005-2011 by Feasa Enterprises Ltd.
-------------------------------------------

This is a Program which is used to execute a Capture plus a Read back on a Feasa
LED Analyser. To perform this measurement, the file "pcapt.exe" needs to be executed.
The results of the read back command are stored in a text file which can then be
opened by the test program.

The config file (config.ini), which should be placed in the same folder than the file
"pcapt.exe" has to be edited before the program "pcapt.exe" can be executed.
Commented lines are preceded by the character #. The config.ini file contains the
following parameters. Please refer to the Led Analyser user manual for more detail on
the baudrate, capture and readback commands:

# This is the serial port number which the Feasa LED Analyser is connected to
port=1

# Feasa LED Analyser Baudrate: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 (default), 115200, 230400.
# Do not change this parameter unless the Feasa Led Analyser has been previously
# configured to work at a different baud rate.
baudrate=57600

# Number of fibers of the LED Analyser connected: 20, 10, 6, 5, 3, 2
numfibers=20

# Command used to capture from the LED Analyser: C (auto), C1(low), C2(medium), C3(high)
# C4(super), C5(ultra), CPWM (for pwm -blinking- LEDs)
command_capture=C

# Command used to read the color or intensity data from the Feasa LED Analyser:
# GETRGBI, GETHSI, GETXY, GETUV
command_read=GETHSI

# File containing the data read back from the Feasa LED Analyser
file_logging_data=C:\la_data.txt

# File containing the errors reported by this software. If no errors are detected,
# the file is not created.
file_logging_errors=C:\la_errors.txt

To allow greater flexibility, certain parameters can be passed to the EXE file as arguments.
Parameters which are passed as arguments have precedence over the same parameter in the
config.ini file.

The parameters are:
  port
  baudrate
  numfibers
  command_capture
  command_read

Format:
pcapt -[parameter1]=[value1] -[parameter2]=[value2]...

Examples:
pcapt -port=2 -numfibers=3
pcapt -port=7 -numfibers=20
pcapt -port=2 -numfibers=20 -command_capture=C3 -command_read=GETXY
pcapt -port=5 -command_capture=C2 -command_read=GETXY
pcapt -port=5 -command_capture=C2 -command_read=GETXY
pcapt -baudrate=9600 -port=2

Note 1: No spaces are allowed between the parameter, the "=" character and the value. You can
use no parameter, one or more parameters.

Note 2: The baudrate has previously been configured in the Feasa LED Analyser. If you wish to
use a different baudrate than the default one, you will first need to configure the Feasa LED
Analyser, using the command SETBAUD. Please refer the Feasa LED Analyser User manual for more
information.
